Elizabeth Ross Burnett was the daughter of Alexander Ross of Ireland. She married Joseph J. Sloat after the death of her first husband, James S. Burnett (1867-1900). James Burnett Jr., one of her three Burnett sons, is also buried in this plot, as is her daughter, Isabel Sloat (1903-1925) and her second husband Joseph J. Sloat. There is no gravestone inscription on the Sloat monument for her name and dates.
