Mrs. Leslee Ann Bursley Phares, age 76, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Monday morning, July 7, 2014, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born April 21, 1938, in Lorain County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Almond and Beverly Riddle Bursley. Leslee was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Butch Bursley. Leslee is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles Roy Phares; three sons, William A. Phares, Charles M. Phares, and Jeffery A. Phares, all of Vanceburg, Kentucky; five daughters, Peggy Phares, Kathy Phares, Dawn Wilburn, and Susan Phares, all of Vanceburg, Kentucky, and Jennifer Huffman of Plumville, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
