Betty L. (Sydney) Peterhans, age 88, of Columbus, Ohio, died June 11, 2010, at Westminster-Thurber Community. Betty a loving mother and grandmother will be remembered as a Master Bridge player, gourmet cook, a gracious hostess, and a skilled business woman. Her husband of 62 years, Donald Wilson Peterhans, precedes her in death. She is survived by daughters, Judith (Philip Kal) Savage of Toluca Lake, CA, Deborah (Dr. Robert) Thompson of Saginaw, MI, and Kristen (Terry Sanders) Sydney of Bexley; nine grandchildren, including Kelsey, Tarayn, and Kyler Sydney Sanders of Bexley; three great- grandchildren; two sisters; and many other relatives and friends. Services will take place at Sand Point, Michigan.
