He was born on March 13, 1958, in Butler, the son of Lona (Spithaler) Edgar and the late Robert Edgar.
Mark had worked as a machinist for General Electric in Grove City for 17 years.
He enjoyed going to flea markets and shopping on eBay. Mark loved building and creating in his machine shop. He also obtained patents for his inventions.
Mark was a loving husband and father and is survived by his wife; his son; his dog, Lily; his mother; his brother; his sister; his mother-in-law and father-in-law; his brother-in-law; his niece and several nephews, and his two great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Madeline and Lewis Spithaler.
Edgar - The friends of Mark Edgar, who passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Richard Jenks officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
