Kathryn was born Saturday, June 18, 1932, in Butler County to the late Claron and Mildred Hunt Beck.
She was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Douglas Ray Beck and Adrian Clay Beck, and a son-in-law, Phillip Lee.
Kathryn B. McKinney is survived by her husband, Chester McKinney of Morgantown;
a daughter, Elizabeth Lee of Morgantown;
two sons, Bobby McKinney and wife Karen of Morgantown, and David Allen McKinney and wife Ione of Morgantown;
three grandsons, Kenny Lee of Bowling Green, Paul Lee of Morgantown and Andy McKinney of Morgantown;
three granddaughters, Laura Lynch and husband Jeff of Morgantown, Pam Proctor and husband Mark of Quality, and Angie Jones and husband Kevin of Taylorsville;
five great-grandchildren; and
a nephew, Steven Clay Beck of Franklin.
