Patrick I. Reid was possibly born between 1781-1790 or earlier, and possibly in Ireland, as it is not certain at this time.

Patrick is listed in the Emmitsburg, Frederick, Maryland Marriage licenses for marrying Justine Hahn on Aug. 23, 1815.
They had the following known children:

1810 Maryland Session Laws, 1810, Vol. 599, p 79. Patrick Reid mentioned for raising a lottery for bridge repairs.

1820 Election District 5, Frederick, MD, Patrick had 2 males under 10 (Samuel & ?), 1 male 26-44 (Patrick), 1 female 10-15, 1 female 26-44 (Justine), and living next door was Isaac Hahn, Justine's father.

Patrick Reid died on Feb. 11, 1829 in Emmitsburg, Frederick, MD. and was buried at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. His wife Justine died Nov. 24, 1848, but was buried at the Elias Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in that town.

p 46, The following lots were sold to persons named for, price two pounds, ten shillings. Ground rent seven shillings, six pence in gold: No 8, Patrick Reid.
p 56, Post Office, the second Post master was Patrick Reid.
