He was a talented and gifted musician. He attended UofL and worked for Café LuLu and also was an aspiring chef. He always made everybody laugh and had a smile on his face.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Buell and Leta Wilkerson; and great-grandmother, Loucille Kelly.
Doug is survived by his loving parents, father, grandparents, sister, stepbrother, aunt, uncles, great-aunt, cousins, loving girlfriend, and his best friend. Doug is also survived by a host of relatives and many friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11a.m. until time of service.
Memorials may be made to the Healing Place, 1020 W. Market St., Louisville, KY. 40202.
