SELLERSBURG - Wheatley, Robert A. "Bob" 76, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Providence Retirement Home.

He was born December 30th, 1937 in Lebanon, KY to the late Robert Joseph and Dorothy Mae (Smith) Wheatley. Bob was the co-owner of Wheatley Truck Parts for some 22 years until his retirement. He enjoyed people, fishing, and collecting tractors and tools. Most of all he loved his wife of 53 years and his family.

Bob was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council in Jeffersonville. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother Joe Wheatley.

Survivors include: wife of 53 years: four daughters, six grandchildren, five siblings. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Reception of family and friends will be 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday July 4th, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Saturday July 5th, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow in Church Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
