Producer Bob Costello was born in Chicago April 26, 1921, the only child of Robert E. Costello, Sr., and the Bernice (McClure) Costello. He married (1) Mary Eddy, (2) Barbara Bolton (stage name Barbara Dello Joio), (3) Sybil Weinberger (music producer on his TV show Dark Shadows). He had two daughters by his first wife and a daughter and son by his second.
His credits include: Armstrong Circle Theater (1954), The Secret Storm (1954), The Patty Duke Show (1963), Dark Shadows (1966), Strange Paradise (1969), Ryans Hope (1978), Another World (1980), and several short films 2008-2010. He won a Peabody Award for the 1976 miniseries The Adams Chronicles. He lived a full life and passed away at age 93 at his summer house in Amagansett's Beach Hampton neighborhood.
