Mother: Frances SHARP Ward
From the Holt County Sentinel-April 11, 1884
H.L. Ward has had the misfortune of losing two of his little boys in the last ten days. He and his wife have the heartfelt sympathy of all of this their dark hour of their bereavement. We can only add, may God's choicest blessings rest upon them, and that they may be able to say, "Thy Will not Ours, Will Be Done, " and though they walk through the valley of the shadow of death, his rod and staff may comfort them.
Note: Shares stone with brother, Roscoe.
