Mark L. Dickson, 60, of Belton, MO passed away July 5, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday, July 8th at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore. Funeral service will be 10 AM Wednesday, July 9th at Red Bridge United Methodist Church 636 E 117th St, Kansas City, MO 64131 with burial to follow at Belton Cemetery, Belton, MO. Mark was born June 8, 1954 in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Robert and Bonnie Sill Dickson. Mark was on the Belton Board of Education for 17 years, Belton City Council for 4 years and a member of the Men’s Golf Association at Eagles Landing. Mark graduated from William Jewel College in 1976 and was a member of William Jewel's winningest football team. Mark enjoyed golfing, fishing and thoroughly enjoyed coaching his children's youth sports teams. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Robert and brother, David W. Dickson. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna of 30 years; son, Ryan Dickson; daughters, Abby and Keri Dickson; brothers, Michael Dickson (Leslie) and Jeffrey Dickson (Cathy); sister, Pamela Kutch (Ric) and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to the Belton Education Foundation, BSD 124. Arrangements: Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, MO (816)322-5278
