Jessie Buell Lathum, age 81, of Cottondale, died April 1, 2007 at the VA Medical Center.
His parents, Jess Lathum and Rosa Bell Lathum, preceded him in death.
Jessie Lathum served in the US Navy in World War II and was seriously wounded. He is a 25-year retired employee of the Tuscaloosa VA Hospital and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 123. Jessie was an avid friend to all of his neighbors and acquaintances for more than 50 years. He will be missed by all that he touched, especially his family.
