Shirley Ann Avery, 60 of Mount Pleasant, partner and vice president with Shoobred Engineers, died Thursday in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 7pm today in Stuhr's Mount Pleasant Chapel. The funeral will be at 2pm Saturday in Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery in Adrian, Ga. Burial will be directed by Townsend Brothers Funeral Home of Dublin, Ga.
Mrs. Avery was born in Scott, Ga., a daughter of John Amerson and Alma Hanson Amerson. She was the widow of Doyle L. Avery.
