Gene "Doug" Baker, 66, of Wills Point went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 24, 2014 in Wills Point. Graveside services under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2014 at Heath Cemetery, in Huron, Texas with Rev. Bruce Martin officiating.

Mr. Baker was born September 9, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. He was the son of the late Homer Jamerson Baker and Bertha Mae Baker. He was raised and Educated in Oak Cliff area of Dallas. In 1987 Doug moved to the Lake Tawakoni community. He worked for Western Union as a Maintenance Technician for 20 years. Doug had the ability to fix anything. Hunting and fishing were among his hobbies. He was preceded in death by his four brothers Floyd, Homer, Lewis, and David.

His is loved and will be missed by his sisters, Dorothy Chambers of Wills Point, Betty Godwin and husband Gene of Mesquite; several nieces and nephews.
