Dennis passed away on July 5, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 69. He was born November 22, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Timothy and Dolores (Croake) Dwyer. He married Frances Toomey on March 9, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a Police Officer and a Robbery Detective with the Chicago Police Department. Dennis lived in Mountain Home Arkansas since moving from Chicago in 1997. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Dennis enjoyed swimming and computers.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Frances Dwyer of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Erin (Scott) Beebe of Mokena, IL; two sons, Dennis (Katie) Dwyer, II of Chicago, IL, and Emmett Dwyer of Mountain Home, AR, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Timothy E. Dwyer, and sister, Sheila Walsh.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guard.
