Audrey Marie Willis, 91, lifetime Morgan County resident, passed away June 16, 2014. She was born June 30, 1922, in Fort Morgan, CO, to Robert and Grace Henson.
Audrey married Everett "Bud" Willis on December 19, 1940, in Benkelman, NE. They were married for nearly 55 years till she lost Bud in 1995. She ran her own daycare for years, she adored children.
Audrey was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, VFW Auxiliary, and a life member of the Elks. She enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, and was a collector of flamingos. Audrey loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Gary Willis, and his wife Darlene of Fort Morgan, CO; 1 sister Margaret Penfold of Arizona; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud, 1 daughter Donna Linker, 2 sisters, 4 brothers, 1 great grandchild and her parents.
Memorial services will be Thursday July 10th at 10:30AM at the Calvary Baptist Church in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow at Memory Gardens.
