Decatur, IN: David Louis Paddock, 55 of Decatur, Indiana passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 peacefully surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. David was born the son of and predeceased Louis (Jim) and Joyce Paddock on March 29,1959.
He is survived by his brothers Larry (Kris) Paddock of Pennsylvania and John Paddock of Texas and his sister Linda (Rich) Silvernail of Virginia.
He leaves to cherish his memories to six children: Stacy (Chris) Crabtree of Virginia, Heather Conklin of Pennsylvania, Kristina Paddock-Vanasse of Maryland, Kimberly (Randy) Chandler of Maryland, Kiersten Paddock of Indiana, Daniel Paddock of Indiana and eight grandchildren, Mariah, Patrick, Lily, Cosette, Aurora, Randy, Wally, and Nora Rose and a longtime companion Leslie Carper.
The family would like to thank Altus Hospice and Nurses Kim and John for the loving care and comfort that was provided for him and the family. We would also like to thank the Blackwell & Vazquez Woodforest Funeral Home. Ruben Vazquez has been very compassionate in our time of need.
