WARREN - Millie M. Henry, 68, of Warren, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, with her family by her side, at the Hospice House in Poland.
Millie was born Dec. 7, 1945, in Clarksburg, W.Va., the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel P. Cumberledge Boggs.
Millie retired after 30 years from Washington Square Nursing Home, where she was a nursing assistant. She enjoyed drag races, flower gardens and spending time with her family.
Millie leaves her loving family, her husband, Steve Barber, whom she married Feb. 2, 1993; daughter, Janet I. Grossbeck of Warren; brother, Robert Boggs of West Virginia; five sisters, Betty Finster, Brenda Moser and Rosie Marsh, all of West Virginia, Jane Bennett of Virginia and Evelyn Stanridge of Texas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in death by two brothers, Frankie and Dale Boggs; and grandson, Robert M. Grossbeck Jr.
A funeral service for Millie will take place 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sinchak and Sons Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour prior to the hour of service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Champion Township Cemetery.
