ELIZABETH F. McMILLEN, 99, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Coventry Meadows, Fort Wayne. Elizabeth was born on Feb. 1, 1915, in Evanston, Ill. She graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. in 1937. She married Dale W. McMillen Jr. on June 17, 1937; he preceded her in death on April 17, 1986. She lived most of her life in Fort Wayne. Elizabeth was active in the Junior League, Saturday Club, member of the Fort Wayne Country Club and First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her three children, Athalie M. Long of Shoreline, Wash., Dale W. (Monica) McMillen III of Ft. Worth, Texas and John F. (Cynthia) McMillen of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation or services. A private family service will be held at a later date.
