Margie Gaufin Eaby, age 83, passed away peacefully February 2, 2006. She was born June 22, 1922 in Kaysville, Utah to Rupert and Tressa Stuart Gaufin. She married Leslie George Eaby.

She graduated from Davis High and LDS Business College. Margie was a pioneer for women in the banking industry. She was a savings and loan manager and president of the American Savings & Loan Institute. She forged the way for women in today's banking environment.

Margie always had a beautiful flower and vegetable garden that was admired by all of the neighbors. She loved her family, bowling and golf.

She is survived by her daughter Judy Baker, her son-in-law Tom whom she loved as a son, five granddaughters, Sheila, Cindy, Heather, Kelly and Kimberly and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Jerry and husband Les.

She loved her family, bowling and golf.
