The funeral of Mrs. A.H. Conner, wife of the late Lewis Conner, took place from the residence of Dr. Masterman, on Sunday, and was largely attended. Herself and family located in Independence before it was a town, except on paper, and when its population lived in covered wagons, tents and hay houses, and has ever enjoyed the respect and esteem of a large circle of friends. The funeral was in charge of the Rev. Harry Vrooman, pastor of the Congregational church.
