Wife of Nehemiah Sprague
Conflict to date: The Vital records cards from the town clerk give the year of death as 1 Nov 1831, died in Whitingham and another 1 Nov 1832 at 43y, buried in Green Cemetery. The tombstone clearly says she died in 1852 at 43y - that would put her birth as 1809. Gravestones are sometimes made years after the fact so not sure which is correct.
A helpful response: The 2nd photo of her tombstone clearly says November 1, 1852, and aged 43 years old. It must be a mistake by the tombstone maker as her husband, Nehemiah Sprague remarried to a lady named Nancy Johnson in 1835. Since Patty was born in 1789, she would have been 43 in 1832, thus dying 3 years before her husband remarried. Nehemiah and Patty are two of my wife, Patricia Yoder's great-great-great-great grandparents through her mother's side.
