Memorial services for Susan (Clapp) Maxwell, 57 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 26 at Riverside Presbyterian Church in Linn Grove. A private burial will place in Linn Grove at a later date.
Susan passed away, Sunday, May 23, 2010 at her home.
Susan Marguerite Clapp, the daughter of Dwight and Mary (Bryngelson) Clapp was born December 14, 1952 in Spencer. Her childhood was spent on a farm near Linn Grove.
In the summer of 1970, she moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas, where she graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1971.
She married Carl William (Bill) Maxwell on February 22, 1974. They were both nurses and spent most of their working years in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Left to cherish her memory are her stepchildren; Linda Gilbert and Bill Maxwell, both of California; two sisters, Vicki and Larry Barglof and family and Cindy and Walter Wolf and daughters, their relatives and many friends whom she also considered family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill and her brother, Michael.
