OKOLONA – Arma Jean Poss, 59, died Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Community Hospice in Verona. She was born February 25, 1955, in Chickasaw County to James A. Pierce and Eddie Rene Randle Pierce.

Arma graduated from Houston High School and was a joy to be around.She will greatly be missed by her mother, Eddie Rene Randle Pierce of Amory; sons, Antonio ""Toon"" Pierce (Coetina) and Derrick Poss, both of Houston; two sisters, Irene Holman of Houston and Mablean Haynes (Milton ""C.D."") of Egypt; three brothers, Roosevelt Pierce (Georgia) of Jacksonville, Fla., Loral Pierce (Anna) of Amory and Anthony Pierce of Aberdeen; and four grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, July 5, at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Plain M.B. Church with the Rev. Willie K. Orr officiating, and the Rev. Michael MaGaha, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Williams Memorial of Okolona is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be today, July 3, from 4-6 p.m., and a wake from 6-7 p.m. at the Williams Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
