JoAnne Gilchrist, 75, was born May 19,1928 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at the Trust Taylor House Hospice. Services will be 10 am. Friday, October 10 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
JoAnne devoted her life to her family. All who knew her will miss her love, wisdom and wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her husband, Corliss Gilchrist of Des Moines, two daughters, Judith Teachout of Altoona and Kathleen Clater and her husband Ron o fdea Moines, sister, Doris Harlan and her husband Don of Des Moines, four grandchildren, Laura, Kristin, Cory and Angela and two great grandchildren, McKinzie and Ayrianna.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Taylor House Hospice.
