Cheryl Ann Ward Pruitt, 62, was welcomed home by her mother, brother and sister on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Interment: Rose Hill Cemetery, Cleburne. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole. She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Taylor; father, Gene Ward; brother, Michael Ward; sister, Carolyn Cain; and nieces, Lisa Bennett and Debbie Lynn Gillispie. Survivors: A beloved wife, sister and grandmother, Cheryl was survived by her husband of 19 years, Johnny Pruitt; sisters, Marian Gordon and Debbie Ward; a son and daughter; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
