Ernest Jerome Bicknell III "Jerry," 66, of Scituate, RI born February 19, 1947 passed away on July 4, 2013. Son of Ernest J. Bicknell Jr. and Fay (Rogers) Bicknell. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara (Beach) Bicknell, daughters Rikki Jacqueline and Jayme Suzanne, brothers Jeffrey Bicknell of Thompson, CT and Frederick "Rick" Bicknell of Kingston, RI and sister Jacqueline Logiodice of Narragansett, RI. He graduated from Cranston High School East in 1965 and Johnson and Wales in 1972, served in US Army 1966 – 1972 as a Senior Military Police in Vietnam and was a retired Grounds Maintenance Supervisor from Roger Williams Park. He worked at the park for 40 years. He enjoyed cooking and gardening. His greatest joy was playing the bass guitar in his band "King Huey and His Court." Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4:00-7:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday at 11:00am in the Shepard of the Valley United Methodist Church 604 Seven Mile Road (at Scituate Avenue) Cranston. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 1210 Pontiac Avenue Cranston, RI 02920 would be appreciated.
