Mr. Geyer was president of Geyer Lumber and Millwork Inc. and the seventh family generation in the business.
He was past president of Franklin-Fulton Drug and Alcohol Council and Architectural Woodwork Institute and member and past exalted ruler of BPOElks Lodge No. 600.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, where he was a former deacon and Sunday School teacher.
Mr. Geyer also was a member of Chambersburg Club; Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce and the Conococheague Chapter, Pennsylvania an national societies of Sons of the American Revolution.
A 1924 graduate of Chambersburg High School, he also was a graduate of Boston Conservatory of Music and Curtis Institute.
Born in Upper Strasburg Aug. 11, 1907, he was the son of the late George C. and Sabina M. Daugherty Geyer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mararet Drummond Geyer, in 1959, and by his second wife, Judith Dempster Geyer, in 1974.
Surviving are his wife, Rosalie Stroup Geyer; a son, George W. Geyer III, 56 Drakes Bay, Corona Del Mar, Calif.; and two sisters; Averil Brown, 1347 Scotland Ave., And Mary Rines, 537 Guilford Ave.
