Edla Marie Brower Tuttle, 88, former Pocatello resident, died Monday morning, June 13, 1994, in Glendale, (Maricopa County) Arizona.
She was born July 13, 1905, at Parker, Idaho, to George Harvey and Mary Ellen (CRAPO) BROWER. She enjoyed sewing clothing, draperies and quilts. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in various capacities in the Relief Society, MIA and Primary.
She was a Daughter of Utah Pioneers for 70 years, and was active in the Glendale Ward Cactus Wren Camp. She moved to Arizona in 1986 from Pocatello
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Mary Lynn) Gray, Glendale, Arizona; and Mrs. Nancy Ellen Elliot, Carmichael, California; one brother, Victor Brower, St. George, Utah; three sisters, Mabel Perkins, Long Beach, California; Elaine Jensen, Eagle, Idao; and Olive Bybee, Ogden, Utah; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death besides her husband by a son, William Brower Tuttle, and a daughter, Carol Louise Rogers.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 17, 1994, at 2 p.m. in the Henderson Funeral Chapel, 431 N. 15th Ave., with Bishop's Counselor Rick Parkin of the Pocatello LDS First Ward officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 pm. on Friday until service time. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
