KINSTON - Elizabeth Davis Mills, 85, of Kinston passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Ivey and Eula Casper Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Anna Elizabeth Mills. Libby enjoyed fishing with her girlfriends, working in her yard, and was a wonderful cook. We will all miss her potato salad and banana pudding. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Criscitiello and husband Tony, of Plymouth; son Linwood Mills Jr. and wife Donna, of Pink Hill; grandchildren, David Mills of Raleigh, Amy Lehr and husband Fritz, of Cary, Laura C. Respess and husband Tony, of Winterville, John Criscitiello of Greenville, Kevin Criscitiello, of Baltimore, Md., and Phillip Mills of Pink Hill; great-grandchildren, Ty Respess, Trevor Respess, Ava Lehr, and Adam Lehr; many other extended family members; special friends and wonderful neighbors, Jo Sandlin and Betty Taylor; and her special dog, Sunshine. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Jackson Heights FWB Church and other times at the home of her son, 7633 Hwy. 258 South, Pink Hill. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Ashley Summerlin and the Reverend Lynn Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pinelawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the North Tower 4th floor staff at Vidant for their love, support, and kindness while she was there.
