Juanita Smith Spencer, 95, of Amarillo died Thursday, July 3, 2014.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Juanita was born March 5, 1919, in Pauls Valley, Okla., to James William and Cora Alveretta Cole. She co-owned Lester Motor Co. and Supply for many years with her husband. She loved to work in the yard and was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Barcie Pleasant Lester, Esker Smith, Joe McKee and Glen Ray Spencer.
Survivors include her daughter, Barcine Smith of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Cherie Debra Barnes and husband Terry Allen of Austin; a grandson, Eric Lynn Smith and wife Rita of Denver; and two great-grandsons, Timothy Allen Barnes and Matthew Michael Barnes.
The family would like to thank the staff at Childers Place for all of the care and compassion shown to them.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Alzheimer's Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
