Dorothy Adkins Fugett, 67, of West Liberty, died Thursday, April 18, 2002, at Mary Chiles Hospital, in West Liberty.
Born December 19, 1934, in Morgan County, Kentucky, Dorothy was a daughter of Prudie Keeton Adkins of Dayton, Ohio, and the late John Raleigh Adkins.
She was a housewife.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Fugett was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Fugett, one son, Clyde Monroe Fugett, two sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include one daughter, Debra Goodpaster, of West Liberty; four sisters, Pearlie Caskey of North Middletown, Ky., Linda Evans and Brenda Tipton both of Dayton, Ohio, and Margie Kelly of Miamisburg, Ohio; three brothers, Harold Adkins of Franklin, Ohio, Bobby Adkins of Dayton, Ohio, and Earl Adkins of West Liberty; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:oo p.m. Sunday, April 21, at Herald and Stewart and Halsey Chapel with Rev. Jeff Montgomery officiating. Burial followed in the Perry Cemetery, at DeHart, with Herald and Stewart and Halsey Funeral Home, of West Liberty in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were James Goodpaster, Glendon Goodpaster, Frankie Fugett, Timmy Fugett, Ronnie Bolin, Dean Adkins, Shawn Adkins, and Eugene Adkins.
