He was born June 22, 1930 in Milburn, Utah to George E. Stewart and Flossie Christensen Stewart.
He married his sweetheart, Eva Lou Carlile, on April 11, 1969.
Paul loved traveling and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. He cherished spending time with family and friends, camping and fishing. He was always a hard worker, after retiring he continued to stay busy by making crafts and special projects for everyone in his life.
He is survived by a brother, Lynn; four sisters-in-law, Beth, Glenna, Jolene, and Maureen; wife, Eva Lou; children, Teddie Manning (Steve), Cody Christensen (Steve Emmer), and Tanya Yates (Sean); step-children, Jill Skinner (Rick), Peggy Goulding, Ron Goulding (Ida), and Janis Goulding; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; as well as countless others who called him "Grandpa." He was preceded in death by his father, mother, five brothers, three sisters, and one step-son.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville, Utah, beginning at 12:30 p.m., with a viewing one hour prior.
Interment will take place in the Fairview City Cemetery approximately two hours after the service is concluded.
There will also be a viewing held on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
