He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War, and he was a retired Potomac Edison employee.
Survived by: wife, Caroline; children, Mrs. Russell F. Oakes, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. John Seldon, Coral Gables, Fla.; Champe F., Miami; and Robert H., Hagerstown; sister, Mrs. W. N. Mebane, Dublin, Va.; brothers, Randall, Cleveland; Edward, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Strother, Dublin, Va.; and 5 grandchildren.
Services Monday at 2:30 pm at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Rev. Kenneth Gearhart officiating. Interment in Rest Haven Cemetery.
