Kathryn Sue (Perry) Rand of Buhl, Minnesota died on Monday, January 28, 2019.
She was born December 22, 1928 in Quincy, Illinois to John Lawrence Edward and Kate Valentine (Pennington) Perry.
The family moved to Rogers, Arkansas in 1938. Sue graduated from Rogers High School in 1946, then attended the Kansas City Secretarial School. In 1949, she married Guy Ashley "Bill" Rand Jr. and they had two daughters.
Sue lived in Rogers for 56 years and was a member of the First Christian Church. Following Bill's death in 1992, she moved to Chisholm, Minnesota to help with her young grandchildren, and was a member of Chisholm Baptist Church.
Kathryn Sue is predeceased by her parents; her husband of 42 years, Guy Ashley "Bill" Rand Jr.; daughter, Diane Denise Rand Hohl; sisters, Vera Mae Looney, Bertha Louise "Bertie" Silseth, Gladys Marie Perry, and Loretta Ann Perry; and brother, Lawrence Edward Perry Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Margaret (Don) Logue of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Marta Marie (Bill) Lemley of Roanoke, Virginis; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in Rogers Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of the Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
