Staff Sergeant Ronald M. Berish, Sr., retired, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center after a lengthy and courageous battle.

He was predeceased by his parents, William and Catherine Glasney Berish, son, Robert Berish, daughter, Robin Jeffries, and granddaughter, Christine Jeffries.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Juanita Seamons Berish; Children: Ronald Berish, Jr., David Berish, Larry Berish, Sr. and wife Robin, Tammy Sabol, Angelo Berish and wife Heather; Grandchildren: Ronald Berish III, Mark Jeffries, Jr. and wife Lindsay, Larry Berish Jr., Joel Berish, Amber Lowry, Robert Lowry, Jr., Kaylee Franks-Berish, Abigail Berish; brother Dana Berish, Sr., numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa. on Friday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m., the Hour of Service with the Reverend Larry Smith officiating.

Interment will be in Acklin Cemetery.
