Mr. Len Roland West, age 78, of Jonesboro, passed away, July 2, 2014.
He was preceded in death by 9 of his siblings. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.
He is survived by his wife, Clegg; children, Ramona (Farrar) Wood of Forest Park, Steve (Mitzi) West of stockbridge; sister, Mattie Lou West (Doyle) Cannon of TX; grandchildren, Christopher (Shannon) Wood, Jackson West, Emily West, Natalie West and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Worship Center. Rev. Irvin Pearre and Dr. Mel Blackaby will officiate. Mr. West will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Camp Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Missions Fund, PO Box 773, Jonesboro, GA 30237.
