Sharon Rae Bowers, 67, of Findlay, died peacefully at 8:03 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, with her loving family by her side. Sharon was born in Bluffton, Ohio on August 15, 1946, to the late Wallace and Margaret (Peterson) Wilch. Sharon married Joe W. Bowers and they later divorced. She is survived by her three children, Melissa Bowers, Nicholas Bowers, and Joseph Bowers all of Findlay; five grandchildren, Kari, Mark, Brian, Nichole, and Andrea, and 13 great grandchildren. Sharon is also survived by a brother Wallace "Sonny" (Anne) Wilch, Jr. of Lima, Ohio and a dear cousin Pam Miller. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Michele Bowers. Sharon was a graduate of Cory Rawson High School and a member of the Upper Room Church of God. She loved her cat Ronnie and playing bingo. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2014 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Upper Room Church of God with Bishop Terry McBeath officiating. Burial will follow in Clymer Cemetery, near Mt. Cory.
