Rodney L. "Red" Rhodes, 64, of Albany, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014. He was born in Albany, the son of George and Joyce (Joseph) Rhodes. Red graduated from Albany Union High School in 1967.
Following high school, Rodney worked at Albany Frozen Foods and Stokely's Cannery. He retired after working many years in the timber industry as a logger. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing and shooting.
Red was preceded in death by his parents, George and Joyce Rhodes.
Survivors include his daughter and two brothers.
A viewing will be from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be at Willamette Memorial Park.
