Barbara Jean Anderson Paine, 76, of Waterloo, died Sunday at Manor Care Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born December 6, 1937, in Waterloo, the daughter of Reece Franklin and Mary Koweil Anderson. She married Bill Paine on June 6, 1981, in Evansdale. He died July 30, 2012.

Barbara was employed as a nursing aide for Americana Nursing Home in Waterloo and also Manor Care/The Forum in Arizona, retiring in 1997.

Survivors include two brothers, Dana (Judy) Anderson of Waterloo and Jon Anderson of Arizona; two sister-in-laws, Arlene (Larry) Dodd of Waterloo and Betty Anton of Marion; a brother-in-law, Barrie Paine of Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Anderson; two sisters, Georgia Anderson
and Judith Anderson.

Services 10:30 A.M. Thursday, July 3, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway. Visitation also one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
