John Shackford Moulton, Jr. was the son of John Shackford Moulton, Sr. and Lydia Berry. He married Elizabeth A. Pilsbury on 25 Dec 1859 in Scarborough. He was a butcher who resided at Dunstan Corner. In 1856, he was a selectman for the town of Scarborough. Elizabeth and John had 12 children, many that died young.
