She was 86.
She was born in Buchanan, MI to Paul Bartlett Wallace and Emily Gospill Cole Wallace on February 26, 1928.
She graduated with an AA in Merchandising from Western Michigan U in Kalamazoo, MI.
During the next 10 years, she held positions as Assistant Buyer, Reservationist for Capitol and Pan Am Airlines, copy editor for WRC Radio, Secretary to the Personnel Director at the Statler Hotel.
She married William Joseph Doyle on July 21, 1956.
She is survived by her children, John William Doyle, of Martinsburg, WV, Andrea Doyle Vandenberg, of Herndon, VA, Kathleen Sandra Mattisz, of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Shelby Sites, Griffin Doyle and Leigh Butts; and three great-grandchildren, Jackson Sites, Josslyn Sites, and Ryleigh Butts.
Her love of arts and crafts showed up as a teenager when she made Christmas cards and, later, when she was the sole proprietor of "Craft Corner", an arts and craft store, specializing in tole and canvas painting.
She taught a wide variety of craft classes through the Fairfax County Adult Education Program.
Her love of gardening was apparent at her home, in Ashland, VA, where she landscaped the side of the house with a beautiful flowering menagerie.
She loved drawing, painting, and doing watercolor. She was a self-taught restorer of antique frames and paintings.
Beverly will be best remembered as a loving mom, talented artist, and avid dog lover.
