Delta - Albert Bronson died at the home of George Bellinger Sunday at 12 o'clock of a complication of diseases, aged 83 years, ten months and nine days. The deceased was born in the town of Floyd. He was engaged in the hotel business in the cities of Utica, Oswego, New York and Fostoria, O., for over 20 years. In 1862 he enlisted in the Second New York Heavy Artillery as major. The premature explosion of a cannon affected his hearing to such an extent that he was compelled to retire from active life. He was a member of Arcturus Lodge, F & AM, of New York City. He leaves two children, Baxter and Mrs. Katie Noonan of Los Angeles, Cal. Also five sisters, Mrs. Harriet Bork of Delta, Mrs. James Tupper and Mrs. C. B. Hitchcock of Lee Center, Mrs. Christopher Dorn of Vernon Center, and Mrs. Emma Bellinger of New York City, and one brother, Charles of Boonville. He died secure in the belief that he who doeth all things well can make no mistake. The funeral will be held at his late resident on Tuesday. Interment will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.
