Lawrence Brousseau Sr. of Schaumburg, formerly of Arlington Heights, died Dec. 25, 2013, at Friendship Village. Lawrence was born March 14, 1923, in Chicago.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army, and was a member of the Arlington Heights VFW Post 981. He was a former partner in Heights Floor Covering.

He was the husband of the late Anna; father of Lawrence Jr. (Nina), Carol (Bob) Pierce, Linda (Phil) Moll, Jim (Gayle), Pat (Candy), Nancy (Buzz) Livingston and Andy (Jena) Brousseau; grandfather of 14; and great-grandfather of nine.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arlington Heights VFW.
