Debora Ann Martin, was born May 23, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of George Gerald & Rosemary Ann (Zitz) Fulton. She attended St. Vitus School in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Kirkwood Community College with a degree in nursing. She was united in marriage to Charles Martin at St. Michael's Church in Holbrook, Iowa. To this union they had two children. They later divorced.

Deb worked at the University of Iowa Hospital as an LPN and Mercy Hospital as an RN. She recently was the Director of Nursing for Independent Nursing Consultants. She was a former member of St. Michael's Church, where she taught Catechism for a number of years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, caring for her bird and especially being with her family and grandchildren. Deb died on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa at the age of 53 years.

She is survived by her sons: Bryan "Buster" (Christie) Martin and Mitchel (special friend Kayley Wallace) Martin all of Williamsburg; two grandsons: Blaine and Brody Martin; her parents: George & Rose Fulton of Brandon; siblings: Kathy (James) Kangy of Holbrook, George (Betty) Wright of Cedar Rapids, Dwayne Fulton of Brandon and Darlene (Randy) Lytle of Iowa City; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by infant twin sisters and a special grandmother Mary Zitz.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30AM on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at St. Michael's Church, Holbrook. Fr. Richard Okumu will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Michael's Cemetery, Holbrook. Visitation will be from 1:00- 3:00 PM on Friday, July 4, 2014 at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg. Memorials may be given to Friends of Old St. Michael's.
