Judson Taylor Bowles, Sr., age 87 of 1340 Thomason Rd., S.E., died Tuesday evening in a local hospital. Mr. Bowles was a former employee of the American Viscose Corp. and was retired from Valley Roofing company. Surving are his wife, Mrs. Edna D. Bowles; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Allen Hagee; a son and daughter-in-law, J.T. Jr. and Marion Bowles.; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Belcher all of Vinton; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at First Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Earnest C. Lewis, the Rev. L.E. Humrick, and the Rev. Frank Kish will officiate. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
