Millard Dishman, age 72 years, 10 months and 6 days, died at his home Sunday, January 13th after a short illness.
Mr. Dishman had lived in Wayne County all his life. He had been a devoted Christian member and leader of Old Union Baptist Church of Slickford for 25 years.
Surviving is his wife, 4 daughters, Mrs. Lona Tillette of Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. Ola Dishman of New Castle, Ind.; Mrs. Mollie Stinson of Columbia, Ky., and Mrs. Oliver Dishman of East Jamestown, Tenn. Also four sons, Roy of Providence, Ky., Herbert of Slickford, Kenneth of Hamilton, Mich., Hubert of Sunnybrook. One sister, Mrs. Garland Marsh of Slickford, and 2 brothers, Porter of Monticello, Watt of Slickford.
Funeral services were conducted January 15 by Bro. J. W. Marsh and Bro. Frank Morris, with burial at the Slickford cemetery.
