JoAnn M. Howard, 84, of Waxahachie, passed away July 2, 2014, in Waxahachie. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2014, at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11 a.m., in Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will be in Waxahachie City Cemetery.
JoAnn was born in Midlothian, Texas, to the late Claude F. Matthews and Cora L. Pinnington Matthews. She loved trail riding with her husband, Eddie, in their covered wagon. JoAnn also enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar O. "Eddie" Howard, of Waxahachie; daughters, Lynell Pinkerton, of Colorado, Dianne Howard, of Abilene, and Natasha Bullard, of Ft. Worth; son, Charlie David Howard, of Avalon; sister, Pam Ray, of Mountain Peak; sisters-in-law: Billie Ruth Baker, of Grandberry, Bonnie Fay Galloway, also of Grandberry, and Effie Hindman, of Weatherford; grandchildren: Jarrod Pinkerton, Robert McLendon, and Cheryl Howard; numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
