SCHAUB, FRANK A., 96, formerly of Portland Plaza, passed away Friday, August 17, 2007 at Parkway Medical Center.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and owner and operator of the old Schaub's Shoe Repair on Portland Avenue. He was a member of Knights of St. John, St. Ann's Confraternity, and the Our Lady's Men's Club.
He is survived by two sons and their wives, and three grandchildren.
The funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of Our Lady, 3511 Rudd Avenue, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, 2114 West Market Street.
