After marrying his 1st wife Mary Dormer around 1854, they raised 5 children in the Province of Ontario.

Anthony remarried after the death of Mary in 1875 to Fannie Leonora Baldwin.
Anthony was a Lawyer when he was living in the town of Lindsay, Victoria County. Then after moving to Berlin he became a Judge in the town of Berlin, Waterloo County.
He passed away from Cirrhosis of the Liver at the age of 66 years. Death Register #019848.
